1. 粉末冶金是上下模具擠壓成型，成品的幾何型狀會有較大的限制，一般來說，可以想成只有單一方向的形狀變化‧壓鑄和粉末射出成型，也會因開模方向有些許幾何形狀限制但是限制會比粉末冶金較少‧
2. 這三種製程都是適合快速大量生產的製程，成品的成本都不高‧但是粉末冶金的模具較便宜，約1-3萬‧壓鑄和粉末射出模具較貴，約10-20萬‧
3. 壓鑄因將熔融金屬液射入鋼模冷卻，只適用於鋁合金，鎂合金等低熔點的材質‧粉末冶金一般會使用鋼鐵，銅，鎢，鎳和鋁(較少見)等材質‧
4. 這些製程產出的成品都可以加工
5. MIM成品應該可以當外觀件，但不知道您的需求‧一般粉末冶金產品要做電鍍等表面處理，要先做封孔處理‧最後結果有較多的變數‧
