日本の全日空がローンチカスタマーとなって、現在急ピッチで製造されている。
ボーイングはアメリカの会社だが、
最近のボーイング機は、多くの日本の重工業会社などが協力している。
各部品をそれぞれの会社が作り、ボーイングでひとつにする、というもの。
今回の787も、多くの日本企業が参加してるが、
主要構造部分である羽根や胴体も日本など（三菱重工など）で作る。
で、この787。羽根、胴体などの主要構造が、
今までの金属類から、炭素系複合素材（いわゆるカーボンファイバー）に変更された。
F1のモノコックと同じようなもの。成型し大きなオーブンで焼く。
羽根や胴体はでかい。ましてや、胴体は輪状に作られるので、小さくならない。
日本で作ってアメリカへどうやって持っていく？
船じゃ時間がかかりすぎる。こんなでかいもの既存の飛行機には乗らない。
（ちなみにベルーガは競合相手側の飛行機ね。）
ってことでそれを運ぶ飛行機を作っちゃった。
そこでようやく本題。
B747ラージカーゴフレーターというそうな。
既存のB747を改造し、胴体を太くして中に大きなものが入るようにした。
後ろの方で胴体が折れ曲がり、長いもの（羽根）も入れられる。
写真を見るなり、不恰好！！！
何で段があるのさ。色もヘンだし。外見にこだわらなさすぎ。
MHIのある、名古屋中部空港に飛来するようです。
来るときは色ぐらい塗ってくれよ！！
